ABOUT

Kelsi Creek is an Austin, TX–based indie-soul artist known for her raw energy, powerful vocals, and deeply personal songwriting. A self-taught singer-songwriter, she blends rhythmic guitar work with emotionally resonant storytelling, creating music that explores love, loss, social issues, and the power of self-advocacy.

As a performer, Kelsi has brought her evolving sound to stages such as Baton Rouge Pride, Sofar Sounds, Pecan Street Festival, the Dripping Springs Songwriter Festival, and the Panama City Songwriter Festival. She has also shared the stage with nationally recognized artists including G Flip, CeCe Peniston, and Kelsey Wilson of Sir Woman.

Beyond her work as a performer, Kelsi is deeply committed to community engagement in Austin. She fosters animals through Austin Pets Alive!, supports accessibility and joy for families by personally funding a free toy program for children attending her shows, and prioritizes hiring local musicians, sound engineers, and visual artists—helping sustain and uplift the city’s creative ecosystem and she volunteers with Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary club every year for their adoption fest to help Texas kids in foster care get adopted.

    FREE TOYS FOR THE KIDS

Since November 2024, Kelsi has been collecting and giving away toys to kids shows—completely free of charge! What started with quirky “not sure what kind of animal that is” toys from Amazon quickly grew into a collection of Beanie Babies sourced from Facebook Marketplace. The Beanies have become a fan favorite and are now a staple at every show.

One year into this mission to spread joy, and I’ve already given away over 800 toys—and this is just the beginning!

    Mental Health Advocacy

Through her art, Kelsi is dedicated to raising awareness about mental health, sharing a powerful and uplifting message: YOU ARE ENOUGH! The "You're Enough" designs were inspired by the memory of Kelsi’s dear friend Kim, who tragically lost her life to suicide in 2012, and in honor of her friend Tanner, who also faced mental health struggles and passed away in 2024. Through her vibrant and meaningful creations, Kelsi aims to inspire self-empowerment, encourage resilience, and promote mental well-being for all.

    Music Advisory

Kelsi is also a part of the HAAM’s Musician Advisory Group where we work with HAAM Leadership and the HAAM Board of Directors. HAAM provides access to affordable healthcare for greater Austin’s low-income, working musicians, with a focus on prevention and wellness. Many Austin musicians are self-employed and have no access to health insurance or basic healthcare. HAAM has helped musicians, DJs, and music teachers across Travis and surrounding counties access over $191 million in healthcare services since we began in 2005.
